"Thomasonian Recorder" letter to the editor

To the Editor.
Sir: Having removed my residence from Rockville, Montgomery Co., Md., to this place, Jennings County, Indiana, you will please hereafter to direct my Recorder to this place.
I have not been long enough in this place to know more than that there appears to be a wide field open for a well qualified ptractitioner.
I have a Right, and have used no other medicine for a large family for six years, have found it to answer every purpose so far, and shall continue to rely upon it as the only safe remedy for the relief of suffering humanity.
There is no practitioner in or near this place, though there are some few Thomsonians, mostly like myself, who, wanting bodily strength or confidence in their abilities to do justice to the cause, only use the medicine in their families.
With my best wishes for the success of the cause generally, and your exertions individually, I am, dear sir,
Yours, respectfully, Willy Janes, Vernon, Ia., August 22, 1837
