was an official in the new city of Merida in 1543
and Royal Treasurer of New Spain in 1553. Married to Ana de Estrada de
la Caballeria, daughter of Don Alonso de Estrada Duke of Aragon. Died
in 1564. By the end of the century the Estrada, Albornoz and Sosa were
well integrated by marriage.

Ana2 de Estrada Cavalleria (Alonso1 de Estrada)2 was born in Ciudad Real circa 1524. She married Juan Alonso de Sosa circa 1534 in Mexico, D.F. Juan was born circa 1500 in Cordova. He was the son of Lope de Sosa. Alonso came to New Spain in 1531. He became the treasurer. His father Lope de Sosa was governor of the Canary Islands.
