Diego de Santiesteban married Beatriz Manrique y de la Cueva and they had a daughter, Isabel, known as Iseo. Diego was doncel [page] of the Reyes Católicos, that is, Ferdinand and Isabella of Spain, and ganador [???] de la ciudad [of the city - of Málaga].

On December 1, 1526, in Granada, Beatriz made a bequest to her grandson, Lope de Zayas y Manrique, leaving him part of las posesiones [possessions or property] que se sacaron por el pleito contra lasmonjas de Santa Isabel [that were awarded in the suit against the nuns of Santa Isabel]. One can only wonder what that was all about. Beatriz made her will in Málaga on June 12, 1529, before Juan Parrado.
