I did some research on Sabinas Hidalgo the area belonged or was founded by Bernabe de las Casas Diegos father in law and Diego de Villarreal's sons Juan and Cristobal inherited the land and a Hacienda named Hacienda de Enmedio which after that became Hacienda de Juan y Cristobal de Villarreal. and later the town of Sabinas Hidalgo. So that is the connection of Juan Villarreal to this town. These two brothers were pretty famous and very close. They served in the Nuevo Leon company and were in all the Texas expeditions with Alonso de Leon.They rode together into Texas with Alonso de Leon and were among his picked men. I thought it was Francisco aand Cristobal but it says it was Juan and Cristobal.
