In Abram, Texas across the street from the old school there is a vacant lot next to Laurence Villarreal’s house. On that lot there is a huge mesquite tree said to be the oldest mesquite tree around. It is Called Francisco Villareal’s tree because it was where his home was and he would always sit by the tree.
